Cherry angiomas removed painlessly

Unsightly and prone to be bumped, cherry angiomas can now be treated without the need for a surgical procedure.

What Are Cherry Angiomas?

Cherry Angiomas may only be a few millimetres across when they first appear, however they may grow to a centimetre or more in diameter.

They are made up of a cluster of tiny capillaries at the surface of the skin, and can range in colour from bright red to purple. As the blood vessels are so close to the surface, they can bleed profusely if knocked.

Cherry angiomas are benign angiokeratomas that appear as tiny pin-point red papules, especially on the trunk, and increase with age

Causes Of Cherry Angiomas

The exact cause of cherry angioma is not known. Cherry angiomas are mostly occurring due to aging. Angiomas are more common in childhood, during pregnancy and most common after age 40 and a few can appear on anyone. If there number increases in the individual then there may be chances of liver damage. Angiokeratomas are an overgrowth of blood vessels and skin cells.

How To Treat Cherry  Angiomas

Rather than minor surgery, the SplashProbe works on the principal of targeting the blood with a combination of radio and high frequency technology to produce heat. This dries out the problem vessels without the need for anaesthetics.

With the revolutionary SplashProbe, our nurses can usually treat you without even touching the skin. Even better, results are instant.

The nurses at SplashClinic can achieve the effective results people have traditionally seen from plastic surgeons.

The SplashProbe is non-invasive and proven in rigorous scientific tests.

Our registered nurses are highly trained in treating cherry angiomas and will ensure a positive experience.
