There are several reasons you may not be suitable for treatment and because all our clinic’s are run by registered cosmetic nurse specialists who have many years experience when it comes to laser hair removal no on else is more qualified to make an individual assessment than the staff at SplashClinic.

Unsuitable Candidates

•  If you are pregnant or breast feeding
•  If you are on any type of photo sensitive medication, (any medication you are taking should always be disclosed in the initial consult) it is also very important to update the nurses if you start any medication during your course of treatments.
•  If you are planning to spend time in the sun in the near future
•  If you have been at a tanning salon or had a spray tan
•  If you are sun burnt or have had sun exposure recently and have a tan
•  Some skin conditions can be contraindicated when it comes to laser hair removal, you should discuss this in your consult if you have any concerns
•  If you have red or fair hair it is often very difficult if not impossible in some cases to treat
